Lynch opens a near miss anonymous reporting portal

It is the company policy, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, 1974 to provide, within the framework of the law, good practice and industry standards, safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all our employees. We are committed to providing sufficient resources to carry out the policy arrangements.

We work hard to achieve the standards required and a culture for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by company activities. It is with this in mind Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage has installed a Confidential Incident Reporting portal which can be accessed anonymously via the Lynch website.

If you have a health and safety concern or just want to bring an unsafe or near miss incident to our attention, either anonymously or openly then report it here and now.

Lynch Plant Director and Head of Health & Safety Rob Lynch said: "We are committed to the improvement of health, Safety and environment performance through the continuing development of a culture of 'zero tolerance to unsafe acts' among our workforce. The success of this programme will be measured through a reduction in RIDDOR accidents, near misses and incidents."

"We wish to develop and implement a simple-to-understand safety, health and environment meeting structure from 'top to bottom' of the company. To do this we need to recognise the contribution of individuals through implementation of an improved safety and environmental system and to improve the practice of safety communication and briefing, by empowering staff and sub-contractor to report unsafe acts or incidents to continually to learn and improve as a business."
