Lynch set to sponsor colour road rush charity event

We're proud to announce we're sponsoring the Colour Road Rush, a unique charity run along a brand new carriageway in South Devon next month (August).

Run in partnership with Galliford Try and Linden Homes, Galliford Try's house-building division, the event will see people of all ages take part in a paint run along the new South Devon Link Road.

However, there's a twist. Rather than simply tackle the 3K route, participants will also have to contend with being blasted with neon powdered paint along the way. The event is being held in aid of Rowcroft Hospice, which provides care to over 2,000 patients and their families across South Devon each year.

Director, Rob Lynch, said they are sponsoring the event as they helped develop the road over the last year and wanted to make a positive impact on the local community.

"As a family business, donating to charity is extremely important to us, which is one of the reasons why we’re so keen to get behind this great cause," he said.

"We've been providing local employment for over 70 residents in the local community as part of the South Devon Link Road project, but wanted to do something more. In addition to sponsoring the event, we'll also be manning one of the colour stations on the day."
