In order to highlight the profile of operators and to encourage new blood into the industry, Lynch is sponsoring ‘Operator Trials’, a nationwide competition specifically for operators. ‘Operator Trials’ will be travelling the length of the country running a nationwide competition to recognise the best operators, testing them in various time trialed events. These events will be held in the South West at the Oaktree Arena, the South East at Dartford, the North West at Warrington and the Midlands at Rushden. Starting off in the South West at the Oaktree Arena on the 28th March. ‘Operator Trials’ will be displaying a state of the art Tenstar Excavator simulator, so, if you do not posses a competency card to participate in the main trials, there is no better way to begin digging dirt.
On the day there will be prizes on offer, even for just coming along and entering. However the regional champions will take home iPad Mini 3s and the overall nationwide UK champion will win a fantastic holiday for two.
During 2015 Lynch is raising money for its chosen charity, namely Breast Cancer Care and at the ‘Operator Trials’ there will be a chance to support this notable Charity by purchasing raffle tickets to win a brand new ‘one of a kind’ Pink Bobcat E14 Compact Excavator. Also as part of an ongoing campaign Lynch will be using the event to highlight the skills shortage in the industry as well as the lack of women currently working in construction.
Operations Direction Mark Kennedy said: “By building the profile of operators in our Industry and the skill set it will only enhance the likelihood of young men and women wanting to enter this industry as their choice of career”
