Sustainability
In partnership with our customer Skanska, we're welcoming our newest fleet addition, a 17m full electric telehandler! This is now on hire at a major National Highways project, the A428. By Spring 2024, we're set to have three of these innovative electric telehandlers across the project compounds, replacing the diesel equivalents.
This 100% electric telehandler produces zero local emissions of CO2, NOx, and particulates, significantly improving air quality and reducing our environmental impact. Its' quiet operation creates a more comfortable working environment and enhances communication on-site. There's no compromise on performance as the battery efficiently powers the machine for an entire day's work, rivalling standard diesel equipment.
It's great to collaborate with forward-thinking companies like Skanska, driving this sustainable initiative forward. Together, we're leveraging innovative solutions and putting our electric fleet to good use, shaping a more sustainable future for construction.
Stay tuned for more updates!
