Lynch appoints Eibhlin Flynn to Board of Directors

Eibhlin Flynn has been appointed Sales & Marketing Director of leading plant hire company L Lynch Plant Hire & Haulage and is proud to be leading the way for women as the company's first female Director appointment since one of our co-founding directors, the late Celia Lynch. 

Eibhlin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Lynch Board of Directors, carving out a distinguished 16-year career working across the construction industry. Her well-rounded journey has provided her with extensive experience in infrastructure, spearheading sales and marketing strategies, identifying strategic partnerships and developing major framework opportunities in her previous roles. She has worked across a range of key areas in construction that includes training, safety, sustainability, and social value, giving her a unique insight into industry requirements and customer needs. 

Eibhlin will oversee Lynch's Sales and Marketing teams, forging strategic partnerships with our Tier 1 customers. She is committed to supporting and adding value through our four-pillar framework, emphasising solution-focused approaches and showcasing the team's expertise. Her key focus is delivering world-class infrastructure with plant, haulage, and innovation. 

Lynch are a leading provider of Operated and Self-Drive Plant Hire, Haulage and Transport Services to the UK construction industry.  Our purpose is to support our customers by creating essential infrastructure and delivering projects across various sectors, including highways, energy, utilities, defence, aviation, and rail. With over 40 years of experience, we're building for the future - creating economic, environmental and social value for all. Eibhlin will spearhead our sales teams delivering these projects, concurrently elevating our marketing and communication efforts to match our industry leading status.  

Eibhlin's appointment to the Lynch Board of Directors coincides with Women in Construction week and International Women's Day, and Eibhlin is deeply passionate about advocating for women in the industry. Eibhlin initially entered the construction industry by chance, yet swiftly realised its promising potential and opportunities for career advancement and progression. Her background is in psychology and sociology, equipping her with a unique perspective of the industry. She is deeply passionate about FIR (Fairness, Inclusion, and Respect) and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility), inclusivity, and better working environments for our industry. Notably, her efforts in setting up an Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) forums on site projects garnered award recognition from tier 1 customers and led to the initiative being rolled out across the industry.
