FIR Celebration: Driving Forward Inclusion and Opportunity

By Sophie Holdrick

reading time

We were proud to bring together our customers, partners, and colleagues to celebrate a major milestone: Lynch has become the first UK plant hire company to achieve FIR Growth Accreditation. This significant achievement highlights our commitment to building diverse, inclusive teams and embedding Fairness, Inclusion and Respect (FIR) principles throughout our business.

By adopting industry best practices across our operations, culture, and partnerships, we strengthen our internal culture while adding real value to our customers? projects and delivering more impactful outcomes. We?ll continue working closely with our customers and supply chain partners to drive meaningful and lasting change.

Celebrating Second Chances

At the event, we showcased our Second Chances scheme: FIR in action. This first-of-its-kind initiative gives prison leavers a fresh start, helping them into meaningful careers in construction.

We were honoured to recognise those who have gone above and beyond to support this work:

Outstanding Employer Support for HMP Highpoint Second Chances Programme

Skanska

Mick George

Dedication to Making a Difference

Chris Kent

Paul Head

Outstanding Supply Chain Support

Outstanding Partner Support

What?s Next?

We also took the opportunity to share what?s on the horizon for Lynch... from scaling our Second Chances programme to continuing our growth and innovation journey across the UK.

Thank you to everyone who attended! We're building a more inclusive, fair and respectful industry, together.
