It's National Apprentiship Week where we spotlight all our great apprentices past and present.

Balraj Bansal, Apprentice Fitter

“My work covers all the essential skills I’ll need for my career and I’m learning the mechanics of a range of machines. Every day is different”

Balraj is training as an apprentice mechanic based in our workshop. His work will soon take him out on site fixing machines for major projects nationwide.

Amy Wicks, Head of Key Accounts

"My work ensures that our key accounts customers are happy and we're able to fulfil their requirements on all our major projects nationwide"

Amy started off as an apprentice in the service department and has risen through the company to become the youngest member of the Senior Leadership Team in the company's history.

Charlie Pablos, Major Repairs Fitter

"My work keeps all our machines moving and means that we have very little downtime on our sites. I'm achieving my goal of becoming a mechanic"

Charlie started off as an apprentice plant operator, working on sites up and down the country. When he realised his passion was to fix machines, he started his training to become a fitter and now helps to fix the machines he used to drive.

Laura Kent, Service Assistant

"My work keeps our business running smoothly, ordering and tracking repairs and routine maintenance for machines on hire up and down the country"

Laura started off as a Plant Apprenticeship, getting tickets for four different types of machines and working on the HS2 project. She realised her passion for fixing machines and now works in the service department.

Gurvir Chatra, Apprentice Operator

“My work sends me out on exciting projects, and I’m learning from industry experts. I’m helping to build the future”

Gurvir is training to become a Plant Operator. He has already worked on major infrastructure projects nationwide and hopes to achieve more tickets in his time as an apprentice.

We're looking for the best people to join our team. If you, or anyone you know, would be interested in kickstarting a career in construction, contact us today.
