Lynch and SMT GB have been hard at work at our Machine Control GPS Training Centre, learning all about new and innovative technology, including Volvo’s Haul Assist! Haul Assist provides our Dump Truck Operators with the information they need to optimise workflow and maximise productivity. This uses On-Board Weighing and Maps and helps contribute to a more efficient site.
Our teams were able to collaborate and come together to provide valuable training for our people. The Lynch Training Team, Project Managers and Operator Foremen, as well as SMT GB’s Sales and Training Teams were in attendance. The training covered Haul Assist, Dig Assist and new Electric Machinery, and we now have the knowledge we need to get the best out of this technology.
The two-week training event at Lynch’s dedicated Training School worked really well. We were able to work together towards a better, more connected site. This was a great example of how important it is for suppliers and customers to engage with each other and build great working relationships.
Dave Dutton - Sales Support Manager for SMT GB
It is an exciting time for Lynch and SMT GB, with many new Volvo machines joining the fleet. We are looking to welcoming several A30G Dumptrucks to our fleet this month, the first of which was at the training event. Earlier in the year, we welcomed the ECR25 Electric, the first 3t Electric Excavator for a UK Plant Hire Company, with more joining our fleet. We’re excited to engage with our great supply partners, which allows us to increase our offerings for our customers.
