Today is World Day for Safety and Health at Work, recognising the importance of reducing workplace injuries. The HSE reports 565,000 working people sustained an injury at work and 123 workers were killed in work-related accidents in 2021/22.

This statistic highlights how important it is to always operate with a safety first mindset. We empower our people to put safety and wellbeing first, providing industry-leading safety practices for our customers and our people.

This week, we’ve been busy supporting many of our customers up and down the country, including VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd's HSEQS day and Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture's Safety Stand Down Week. We’ve been sharing best practices, and delivering sessions on The Red Zone, Digital Thumbs Up, and Human Form Recognition systems.

At Lynch, we all put safety first, not just at work but in our day-to-day activities. Sessions like these are a part of our wider campaign of embracing a safety first mindset. Our team will continue to work with all site personnel to ensure we get everyone home safe at the end of the day.
