Projects
Over Easter, Lynch Haulage was pleased to work on the Crossrail Enabling Works in Bethnal Green, London.
The works are taking place to lengthen platforms, needed to allow for longer Crossrail Trains. 432 Tonnes of contaminated soil was moved from the worksite to the Access point by train, where our 15T Operated Excavators emptied the carriages and loaded the material into our Tippers.
We supplied 8 Tipper Lorries on rotating 24-hour shifts, starting from midnight on Easter Saturday, and finishing at midnight on Easter Monday. We collaborated with a soil treatment facility in East London to remain open throughout this period, enabling the works to take place.
With our Management Team on hand and our Supervisors coordinating Drivers on each shift, these works were a great success.
We would like to thank everyone involved for working hard over Easter to make this happen!
