Our Driver Development Supervisor Craig McCormack welcomes two new drivers onto our training scheme, starting them on their career path as professional drivers, with guidance, training and mentoring throughout the duration of the programme.
Dean Martin and Rhys Paulon are starting their journey as Escort Drivers and will gain valuable skills and knowledge required to advance their careers as HGV Drivers funded by Lynch. They’ll work with our Transport Drivers and will learn to load and secure machines safely. They will also gain experience on the roads, customer sites and see first-hand how people, plant and vehicles interact. All of this will help to make the transition from Escort Drivers to Class 2 Plant Delivery Drivers more fluid.
Our training programmes are essential for us to bring the next generation of drivers into our industry, they are a key part of the Lynch Team and it is only with their passion, hard work and can-do attitudes that we can drive Lynch forward.
